Beauvais airport is located some 60km north of Paris. To reach Paris from the airport, the easiest option is to use the shuttle bus. These buses leave 15-30 minutes after the arrival of your flight. Journey time is 1.5-2 hours and tickets cost €10 one-way.
At the airport:
Buses depart from immediately outside the terminal building. When you leave the building, turn right and you will see the buses in front of you.
Tickets are obtained from machines located within the terminal building (unlike in Paris itself, you are unable to buy your ticket on the bus). One machine is located within the baggage reclaim hall (very easy to spot - there is a sign above it with a large blue arrow pointing downwards) and two machines are available just outside the reclaim area.
Tip - Buy your tickets from the machine in the baggage reclaim area while you wait for your luggage to arrive. This will save you time by avoiding the inevitable queue later (nearly everybody needs to buy a ticket). To use the machine in the reclaim area you need to have at least a €10 note (make sure its in good condition as the machine is a bit fussy about accepting crumpled/folded notes). There is an ATM within the terminal building, but this is located outside the reclaim area - so make sure you arrive with the required amount of euros if you want to use the machine in the reclaim area.
In Paris:
Buses arrive/depart from the coach park in Porte Maillot (adjacent to the Palais des Congres building).
There IS a bus ticket office, but this is located at the other side of a busy road junction. It is simpler to buy your ticket from the rep who usually hangs around the coach park (or if you don't see him just get on the bus and he will find you).
Porte Maillot metro station (for access to central Paris) has a number of entrances, all of which are a 5 minute walk from the coach park. It's not signposted from the coach park, so ask a fellow passenger (or the driver) for directions. For a map click here (http://www.hotelsreviewed.com/paris-porte-maillot-bus-metro.html)
